Pay for the service
As we are a private entity, the price for a consultation via form starts from 49.99 EUR. However, the price is still lower than most traditional medical appointments. The security of transactions is guaranteed by payments via Stripe platform.

Now you only have to wait for an email confirmation that the doctor has issued the prescription to your selected pharmacy. It usually arrives within an hour. In exceptional cases, however, the processing time may be extended to 12 hours.

Is this service legitimate and secure?
Absolutely. All our medical professionals are fully registered with the Irish Medical Council. Our clinical team follows best practice guidelines and remains informed on up-to-date medical regulations, as outlined in the Irish Medical Council’s ethical standards. We use a robust quality management system to continuously refine and safeguard our services.
Who makes up your medical team, and where do they work?
Our physicians are located across Ireland and operate remotely., Each fully registered with the Irish Medical Council. Their treatment advice is provided entirely at their own clinical discretion, ensuring that every decision is made in the best interest of the patient.
What payment methods are available?
All orders must be paid for online through our website; we cannot process phone payments. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or PayPal.
What if my request for treatment is declined?
Sometimes our doctors may determine that it isn’t medically appropriate to prescribe a particular treatment. If that’s the case, you’ll receive an e-mail explaining the reason, and we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method. This may take up to five working days to show up in your account.
Is it possible to receive my medication by mail?
No. In Ireland, it is illegal to send prescription medication through the post. Instead, we’ll send your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice. Once your request is approved, simply go to the pharmacy to pay for and collect your treatment.
How will I be notified once my order is received?
After one of our clinicians reviews your request, you’ll receive an email notification.
May I order on behalf of my minor child or another adult?
Unfortunately, we cannot process orders placed on someone else’s behalf. We also do not provide prescriptions for anyone under 18 years of age.
When will my prescription be ready?
If your order is approved by 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, you can usually collect it from your local pharmacy the same day. This depends on the pharmacy’s operating hours and their stock, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm availability.
My pharmacy cannot find my prescription. How should I proceed?
Please ask the pharmacy staff to call us directly at office@medunit.ie so we can help resolve the issue.
Is my prescription ready for pick-up?
Once your request has been approved, the electronic prescription is sent directly to the pharmacy for processing. We advise calling the pharmacy to make sure your medication is in stock and to confirm a convenient pick-up time.
How long is my prescription valid at my chosen pharmacy?
Our prescriptions remain valid for six months from the issue date. You are responsible for collecting your medication within that time or informing us if it’s no longer needed. After six months, the prescription expires, and a new order must be placed, with no eligibility for a refund.
